Fly fishing in the Paloma River

This river originates from a small stream generated from the drainage of the Desierto y Paloma Lake just outside of the city of Coyhaique.  In its 20 kilometers of water it is possible to fly fish for brown, fario, and rainbow trout (up to 23 inches).  Most fisherman in this area use dry flies and streamers and the majority of the people that arrive to the Paloma River fish from rafts.
