Fly fishing in the Serrano River

This river is located in the world renowned Torres del Paine national park.  Visitors can fish all year long for brown trout in the Serrano River.  It is also possible to catch sea trout and Chinook salmon that swim up the river from the sea.  With the horns of the Torres de Paine in the background and a landscape of marshes and forests, it is recommended to fish from the bank from October to April.  The most popular flies of the aficionados in this area are weighted streamers.  It is also suggested to use lines that sink rapidly.
