Museum of Natural and Cultural History of the Atacama Desert

Geological formations that recreate the geological origins of the driest desert in the world and the Andes Mountains; fossil remains of the first marine invertebrates and remains of the ancient Atacameños, who 12,000 years ago developed their own language (“Kunza”). Their pottery and complex agricultural techniques can be observed in the facility.
