Limarí Museum


Located in the former Ovalle railway station, it holds numerous objects, mainly ceramics, from the millennial El Molle, Las Ánimas, and Diaguitas cultures. Its icons are comprised of ritual vessels with human and animal forms and its work is concentrated on providing information on the pre-Hispanic archeological heritage of Limari province and strengthening local identity and people’s cultural development.
