mapa-museo-historia natural

This is one of the oldest museums in the continent, founded in 1830 by the French scientist Claude Gay, who travelled national territory hired by the state to undertake a census of Chile’s flora and fauna. It contains fossils from the Mesozoic period, like the carotaruris sastrei, remains of the first human settlements, and exhibits brought to Santiago from Easter Island.
