Niebla Fort Site Museum

This Museum fosters an interpretative knowledge of the Niebla Fort, along with the other Spanish fortifications in the Corral Bay, harmonizing this function with the permanence of the monument, working for its preservation and the dissemination of standards for the use and preservation of the site.

It is located 18 kilometers from the city of Valdivia. The purpose of the Niebla Fort was to protect Valdivia from attacks by pirates and soldiers from other counties. Museum guides often go dressed in the Spanish uniform of the period.
