The reflection of this 6,014 colossus can be seen in the waters of the Verde lagoon, along side the lagoon’s flamingos. It is situated 30 kilometers east of San Pedro de Atacama. It is of high archeological interest for its Incan traces, and its crater contains a unique lagoon, the fifth highest on the planet. Its characteristics are similar to those that Mars once had, according to the findings of a 2002 NASA expedition.
