Lago Peñuelas National Reserve

To one side of the road that connects Santiago with Valparaíso and Viña del Mar is the ecosystem that, along with La Campana, shares the recognition of Unesco. It is an artificial reservoir created in 1900 to supply water to coastal cities, and that has an environment where it is possible to appreciate swamps and grasslands with pine and eucalyptus trees. You can do activities such as fishing and hiking.
