This park is a tourism hub in the south central part of Chile, popular for its pleasant climate, the popular town of Pucón, and abundant accommodations.  This area integrates both volcanoes and the lake that gives it its name.  It has several important peaks such as the Lanin volcano, located at 3,728 meters in the Chilean and Argentinean boarder.  It boasts Araucaria and Lenga forests and an ample variety of hiking trails, volcanic caves, and abundant fauna including pumas, foxes, and pudu.
