Central Train Station

The Central Train Station was a significant achievement in Chile’s development at the end of the 19th c.  It was inaugurated in 1855, and, to this day, remains one of the principal train stations in Chile.  Part of the construction of the station was actually completed in France.  The current train line provides service between Santiago and Temuco.  The address is Avenida Bernardo O’Higgins 3170, Santiago, and the phone number is 600 585 5000.
