National Library

Biblioteca Nacional

Built in 1913 and now declared national monument, it is one of the oldest libraries in Latin America. Great cultural and patrimonial bibliographic material is filed and disseminated in this library. It has services for the disabled, a cartography library and several reading rooms that are recognized for their beautiful 20th century architecture.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Saturday from 9:10 AM to 2:00 PM.
