The Universidad Autónoma de Chile, founded in 1989, is one the country's ten largest private universities. Its mission is to provide an appropriate academic environment, fostering the formation of socially responsible and competent professionals. It houses over 18,000 students, and more than 30 careers are taught in this Institution’s five faculties: Education; Juridical and Social Sciences; Architecture and Construction; Health Sciences; and Entrepreneurial Sciences.
The Universidad Autónoma de Chile has nationwide presence with locations in Temuco (where its main campus is situated), Talca and Santiago, where it has two campuses (Providencia and San Miguel). In each of its campuses, Universidad Autónoma de Chile has implemented first-rate infrastructure, becoming the country’s second private University with greatest investment in infrastructure.
In addition, Universidad Autónoma de Chile maintains high standards of quality, accredited by the National Commission of Accreditation (ANC) in the areas of Institutional Management and Undergraduate Teaching, which has led it to be ranked among the five private universities with most extended accreditation periods in Chile.
International Mobility Program
The International Mobility Program of Universidad Autónoma de Chile offers international students the possibility of studying in any of its campuses, either through their regular courses or on their Special Programs (Spanish Program and Latin American Identity and Special Thematic Programs made to measure for foreign universities).
