Southern Ice Fields - Río Mosco Glacier

The Mosco River trail runs through one of the many Patagonian valleys that have historically been visited by colonists and experienced excursionists. The diversity of scenarios invites contemplation of lakes, glaciers, mountain ranges and forests of Lenga and Coihue, all following the sinuous route of the Mosco River.

Main attractions: The Mosco River trail runs through one of the many Patagonian valleys that have historically been visited by colonists and experienced excursionists. The diversity of scenarios invites contemplation of lakes, glaciers, mountain ranges and forests of Lenga and Coihue, all following the sinuous route of the Mosco River until hikers achieve the ultimate reward after enjoying the biodiversity and the mountain landscape: the El Mosco glacier at the end of the route. Visitors will find a shelter for camping along the way.
