Southern Ice Fields - Los Glaciares
This route is an incredible and unique circuit that begins in Lake O’Higgins and takes visitors as far as the gateway to the Southern Ice Fields. As one progresses along the path several glaciers will be sighted, of which the Chico and the imposing O’Higgins glaciers stand out. This route has become a veritable open-air natural museum.

Main attractions: This route is an incredible and unique circuit that begins in Lake O’Higgins and takes visitors as far as the gateway to the Southern Ice Fields. This route has become a veritable open-air natural museum and the route is a fascinating adventure with its landscapes filled with abrupt summits, dominated by the imposing Mount Fitz Roy, valleys, lakes, and mountain glaciers, where you will enjoy beautiful Lenga forests and diverse bird species. You will find areas for shelter and camping along the way.
