Location: Province of Talca, Maule Region.

Main Attractions: This route invites you to venture up into the high mountains, hike around, observe and admire the unique environment of the landscapes carved out by earthquakes, volcanoes and glaciers. A great opportunity to discover the diverse views to be enjoyed from the high mountains (2,233 m above sea level) and their biodiversity. Among the native bird species found here, most important are the black-necked swans, Juarjual ducks and Tagua birds on the shores of Maule Lake, and the hawks and condors that glide among the high summits. You can cover the route in one day, and there are good camping sites along it.
