This route follows the Atacama coast, with its beautiful beaches and unusual rock formations, such as Spherical Granite, a rare geological formation found only in this part of Chile and in parts of Australia and Japan.

It includes Caldera and Chañaral, major resort cities of great historical importance as well – you will start out from Caldera, finalizing the circuit in Chañaral. See archaeological sites of ancient indigenous settlements, mainly of the Chango and Diaguita Indians.
