Azapa Valley, Slave Route

This is an attractive, ethnotourism circuit that acquaints visitors with the customs and traditions of the African slaves who arrived in South America, many of whom settled for centuries in the Azapa Valley and its environs.

Main Attractions: This is an attractive, ethnotourism circuit that acquaints visitors with the customs and traditions of the African slaves who arrived in South America, many of whom settled for centuries in the Azapa Valley and its environs. This route was created to contribute to the recovery of our heritage and the cultural and social identity of the descendants of those Africans, who have organized themselves in various social groups.
