Corresponde a la subregión vinífera más austral del país, que data de la época colonial y conserva cepas traídas por sacerdotes jesuitas y encomenderos. Sus vides emplazadas en planicies, lomas suaves o cerros litorales entregan variedades como cabernet sauvignon y chardonnay.
