During the winter, skiing is the most popular activity in Termas de Chillán.  But there are also many other activities during the summer.

The combination of year round activities and natural beauty add up to an excellent destination for outdoor enthusiasts.  The mountain resort, built in 1997, is available for visitors.  Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, climbing walls, cannoning, and rappelling.  For a relaxing day closer to the resort, a spa is available that includes an outdoor pool and other amenities.

However, some consider the landscape to be most beautiful when it is covered by snow.  Ski services include 9 chairlifts and 28 trails.  Other activities include snow tubing.

The resort is located 82 km east of the city of Chillán.  En route to the resort, sightseers can visit the Pincheira Cave, rock formation that was used as a hiding place for the infamous Pincheira brothers almost 100 years ago.
