For the first time ever, the Wanderlust Festival is bringing it’s yoga and music event outside of North America – and they’ve selected beautiful Termas de Chillán, Chile for the location.
Wanderlust Chile will take place February 15 – 17, 2013, and feature yoga classes from some of the region’s best yogis, speakers on sustainable living, and great live music performances. It’s all taking place at the Termas de Chillán resort located about 250 miles (480 km) south of Santiago.
The unique festival brings together the worlds of yoga, music, sustainable living, and delicious food in beautiful settings. Begun in 2009, the festival has since been held in California, Vermont, Whistler, and Colorado. 2013 will add festivals in Chile and Oahu, Hawaii to the lineup.
Wanderlust Chile attendees will have the opportunity to take classes from some of the regions top yogis, including Rishi Joseph, founder of the Instituto Yogamukti in Santiago, and Figue Diel, a famous Brazilian surf champion who lost his sight in a car accident and has now become a celebrated yoga teacher.
After practicing yoga by day, festival-goers can spend their nights rocking out to some great live music. Legendary Chilean band Los Jaivas will perform their style of rock with an Andean twist, and Chilean DJ Bitman will get the dance party going. The complete lineup of all musicians, yogis, and speakers at Wanderlust Chile is available on the festival’s website.
