In a world dominated by social networking and internet interaction, it is becoming increasingly difficult to coordinate multimedia content online.
Developed for iPhone and android operating systems, the HADZA app automatically uploads images and videos to www.hadza.com, a site where users can manage and share their content via social networks.
Once logged in to their personal account, users are able to review photos and videos immediately, without having to worry about the time-consuming process of uploading. And if they don’t like what they see, they can simply delete it.
Another advantage of the app is its that it uses social networking platforms like Foursquare, Twitter and Facebook to detect other HADZA users in the same location, synchronizing and stitching together the content captured by different people at the same event.
The app’s users can then log in to the site to re-live the moment, viewing photos and videos recorded from different perspectives on three different screens.
As they watch, they can select the audio and videos that they like and then share on social networks.
HADZA was designed by WESYNC, a group of 13 Chilean entrepreneurs between the ages of 21 and 28, who formed in August to work on the project with input and support from tech-gurus in Silicon Valley.
The app’s name comes from one of the last tribes of hunter-gatherers in Africa.
“Hunting requires synchronized collective efforts and that is how our technology works,” the group’s website says.
“Every video is a different spear, every user a different hunter, every event a different hunt and every moment a different prey.”
