Andean peoples have been part of these ecosystems for over ten thousand years, living in a delicate ecological balance of partnership between man and nature, to assure survival. Observe, besides the richness of nature, traces of routes followed for centuries by Andean caravans and small, transient settlements, where herders have pastured their animals since time immemorial, and still do so today.
