Located in the Los Lagos Region, this region it’s part of the Temperate Rain forests of the Austral Andes Biosphere Reserve of the UNESCO. Stands out for its dense forest, filled with trees such as cipres de la cordillera, Magellan’s beech and the lenga beech, among others. Within the mammals that inhabit the region it is possible to find pumas, the kodkod, the culpeo, and specially the huemul, endemic animal that can only be found in the south of Chile and Argentina, which is currently classified as an endagered species.
