Los Queules National Reserve

Sitio Flora de Chile

Located in the Maule Region, this reserve stands out for the protection and conservation of a tree called “queule”, that can only be found in Chile. Along with the queule, it is possible to find other trees such as the coiüe, the peumo, the arrayán and the lingue. Even if it is possible to find several mammals within the reserve, it has an important population of birds, such as the partridge, chilean flicker, house wren, austral pygmy owl and the song thrush.
