San Francisco’s Colonial Art Museum


Located in what once was a San Francisco Church’s convent, this museum it’s divided into seven rooms that exhibit different religious antiques and colonial art. The biggest room holds a collection of pieces made by the artist Basilio Santa Cruz, which tell the story of Saint Francis of Assisi. Within the museum its located the Gabriela Mistral Room, which exhibits the diploma, medal and the facsimiles that were given to the artist when she received the Nobel Prize.
