Talk “Protecting the Chilean Sky”

The Chilean sky is worldwide known as ideal for astronomic observation, becoming therefore essential for the study of the cosmos and the understanding ot the universe. Guillermo Blanc, Doctor in Astronomy and actual academic of the Department of Astronomy of Universidad de Chile, addresses the importance of protecting the Chilean sky from light pollution; explaining its origins, effects and ways of fighting against it with responsibility.
