The prestigious travel magazine Travel + Leisure launched its latest edition with a ranking of the best hotels in the world. This list includes buildings in 45 countries all over the world and was headed by Hotel W Santiago, located in the capital of Chile.
Through a press release, the publication reported that W Santiago was awarded this privileged position mainly due to its architecture, design and location. It adds that this first place enhances Chile’s potential as a country of high tourist interest.
Specifically, the hotel, located on Avenida Isidora Goyenechea, has an impressive 196 rooms, including 20 suites, and 13 Cool Corner Rooms, all equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, beds with feather comforters and 350 thread count sheets, 42” LCD TV, DVD reproducer and two telephone lines (one wireless), both with answering machines and Wi-Fi access.
Also notable are its exclusive boutique with a select catalogue of jewelry and fashion accessories, a fitness center and an open-air swimming-pool on the 21st floor that offers an imposing view of the city.
