Interested in starting your own business, but not sure you’ve got the right skills? Well clear your schedule, because next week is Start-Up Chile Week (SUPWeek) in Santiago – a full week of free activities and training sessions for budding entrepreneurs.
Start-Up Chile is a program of the Chilean government that attracts early-stage entrepreneurs to Chile to start new businesses. The program awards successful applicants US$40,000 in seed capital in addition to working visas, free office space, and mentoring and networking opportunities.
SUPWeek is being coordinated in conjunction with DEMODAY, an event that brings investors from around the world to hear pitches from Start-Up Chile entrepreneurs. But according to Start-Up Chile’s blog, the activities of SUPWeek aim to be informative and interesting to everyone.
“It doesn´t matter whether you are a SUPper or not, whether you are Chilean or not, whether you are an experienced entrepreneur or just a guy/gal loving tech: there will be activities targeting your needs and interests that – trust us – you don´t want to miss,” reads the blog.
