The campaign “The Best of Chile” seeks to promote national identity with an original contest

By means of fourteen 24-hour challenges, users can upload their best photos related with Chilean identity and be selected as “The best of Chile”.

In order to welcome this September – and the National Holidays-, last Tuesday, Imagen de Chile launched a digital campaign called “The best of Chile”, a contest that invites all Chileans to participate in a set of daily challenges, uploading their best photo according to the theme of the day.

The campaign will take place in social networks using the hashtag #lomejordechile, and through the website http://lomejordechile.imagendechile.cl/, where all the participant’s pictures will be stored and submitted to user’s voting.

Myriam Gómez, CEO of Imagen de Chile, explains that this project “aims to increase Chileans identification with the positive and emblematic elements of our country, through an entertaining and dynamic competition within the framework of Chile’s national holiday’s month. The idea is for everyone to celebrate together, emphasizing certain symbols that represent us and proudly unite us as Chileans”.
The campaign will have a two-week extension, giving prizes every day in different categories, including “Best empanada”, “Best traditional costume”, among others. The last voting day will be on September 14 and will eventually define who are the three big winners of “The best of Chile”.
